-Relieves the high pressure region of air between the radiator and motor (reduces lift)

-If your goal is to prevent heat-soak and improve cooling, consider out 'GTR' style bonnet vents first as they expel air above the exhaust manifold and don't disrupt down stream engine bay cooling.Ā
